ADMISSIONS

With five 8-week terms a year, this flexible program gives you the opportunity to earn your Bachelor's Degree at your convenience!
To be eligible for admission to either program, applicants must fulfill the following requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Fire & Safety Engineering Technology:
- High school diploma from an accredited high school or GED
- Minimum college grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Completion of 24 college credit hours or a minimum SAT score of 870/ACT composite score of 18.
Certificate in Fire Administration
For those who are interested in the 10 course certificate program the qualifications are as follows:
- High school diploma from an accredited high school or GED
- Minimum college grade point average (GPA) of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Completion of 24 college credit hours including one college-level English, math, and science course or a minimum SAT score of 870 /ACT composite score of 18.
***Applicants entering the program with a minimum of 24 hours of college credit and have not completed college-level English, Math, and Science and have not taken the SAT/ACT are classified as certificate-seeking.
To apply for admission you must provide:
- Undergraduate application and $30 non-refundable application fee
- Official transcripts sent directly from all regionally accredited schools previously attended. Applicants with less than 24 college credit hours must provide a copy of their high school transcript and SAT/ACT score.
