GREG GORBETT

Greg Gorbett is an Assistant Professor in Fire & Safety Engineering Technology in the Safety, Security and Emergency Management department at EKU. He spent 7 years working as a private consultant in the fire, arson, and explosion investigation profession prior to coming to EKU. He holds two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Fire Science, and the other in Forensic Science. He holds a MS degree in Executive Fire Service Leadership and is currently pursuing a MS degree in Fire Protection Engineering from WPI. He currently serves on the NFPA 1033 Professional Qualifications for Fire Investigator, as well as a Director for the National Association of Fire Investigators.
