FIRE PROTECTION ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY
EKU introduced a concentration in Fire Protection Engineering Technology to give students the sophisticated technical knowledge and skills needed to excel in this emerging field. Fire Protection Engineering Technology allows graduates to work with architects, engineers and officials to investigate fire damage, why protective measures failed and ultimately how new measures could be designed more effectively in the future.
The curriculum includes courses in fire dynamics, building construction, fire protection structures, and places a very special emphasis on safety.

- General Education Requirements & University Requirements: 34 Hours
- Free Electives: 8 Hours
- Program Requirements: 86 Hours
