ANDREW TINSLEY
Andrew Tinsley has over seven years experience in the fire service in which he held positions ranging from firefighter, driver, line officer, and training officer. In addition, he has worked in the engineering field as a structural engineer for approximately two years. He also holds an MS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville and continues to pursue his Ph.D. from the same institution. Mr. Tinsley has published in several journals and presented at international conferences in the areas of high durability concrete mix development and structural deformations of steel in fires. Originally from Knoxville, TN, he has since relocated to Richmond, KY to pursue his dream of teaching at a major university.
